Where to Park

1. New short term parking
   (visitors and shoppers)
   2-hour free parking has been added on both sides of Oak between Emerson and University. 2 hour meters have been added on the south side of University between East Railroad and Maple.
2. Long term daytime parking
   All day meters will be added on the east side of Oak between Church and Clark both sides of Elgin between Sherman and Orrington, the east side of Benson between Clark and Elgin, the west side of Chicago between Clark and Church both sides of Elmwood, Grove to Police Station and the north side of Lake between the CTA tracks and Elmwood. (60 spaces)
3. New Spaces
   Free parking with no daytime limits will be added on Greenwood between Sherman and Chicago all day meters will be added on Sherman between Lake and Greenwood after construction in the area is completed. (stalls will be converted to angle parking)
4. Lakefront permit parking
   The east side of Sheridan road from Greenwood to Clark is being converted to Permit parking. Preference will given to Evanston residents and parkers displaced from Research Park lots. (Proof of Evanston residence and/or downtown employment required.)
5. Other available parking
   The Sherman Ave. . Garage and Church St. Self Park have limited space for monthly permit parkers and daily parkers. Permits will be offered first to displaced Research Park lot parkers. Daily parking will be on a first come first served basis.
